Cuban salsa (often referred to as Casino) originated in Havana and is known for its circular, flowing movements and lively energy. Unlike linear salsa styles (such as L.A. or New York salsa), Cuban salsa emphasizes hip and torso movement and often includes moves danced in a wheel-like formation called Rueda de Casino, where multiple couples dance in a circle, exchanging partners

No experience is required! Our beginner classes are designed to teach the basic steps and timing from scratch. Also, you do not need to bring a partner—our classes typically rotate partners so everyone can practice with different leads and follows, creating a welcoming, social atmosphere.
Wear comfortable, breathable clothing that allows easy movement. For footwear, opt for shoes with a smooth or suede sole (like dance sneakers or Latin dance shoes) to make turns and pivots easier. Avoid shoes with a grippy rubber sole that can hinder your turns.
